Shedbush Farm House is one of the oldest 17th century buildings at the foot of the valley. Walk out the front door and you’ll be greeted with expansive views of Gold Hat. Inside, the cottage’s exposed timbers, low ceilings and barn doors add charm, while the large, enclosed garden is perfect for the dogs to run and play.

This beautiful bakery is close to Corfe Castle and has retained many of its historic features, including an old bread oven and bakers tools. With room for six people and two dogs, you can take the whole family. From here, take advantage of the many hiking trails that start at the castle and end your day in front of the bonfire.
The pet-friendly tennis courts overlook beautiful Studland Bay. You can dance on the cabin balcony with your four-legged friend and watch the waves. Knoll Beach is less than a 30-minute drive away, where dogs are welcome year-round. Alternatively you can join the South West Coastal Path and walk along the coast to the town of Swanage.
Hide in this secret spot with your kitty – two if you want. Located in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, you’re ready to discover a world-famous beach with dog-friendly beaches and endless walks. After a day of exploring, come back inside and rest your weary feet by the wood-burning fireplace.
On the hill of the Golden Hat Manor is an old farmer’s cabin. It has tree-lined views over the south Dorset coast. There’s a fenced-in yard for the pups to stretch their legs and a 10-mile section of the Golden Cap at your doorstep.

In the shadow of Corfu Castle is this zoo. The property is easily accessible, with Kimmeridge Bay just 15 minutes away, so there is something for every pooch. With the seaside towns of Bournemouth and Poole nearby, there is plenty for people to enjoy.
For a dog-friendly beach holiday, try this thatched cottage at Golden Hat Estate. This is one of three cottages on a private estate. Take your child for a walk at the World Heritage-listed Golden Cap or a 15-minute walk to Eypemouth’s dog-friendly beach.
Once an isolated hospital, this pet-friendly cottage is now a spacious vacation home with interior decorations ranging from paneled walls to the bedrooms. “Wow, says Harry! We’d like to welcome you to one of the parks. Even though they’re all dog lovers, we spent the day at Highlands End and can’t believe how many friends we met! Here’s our guide to a great dog day at Highlands End!”
Daisy and I started the morning with a lovely run and play in the park’s dog play area. Here we can escape from the shell and take in the beautiful views of the coast. We had a good time working off some energy, getting ready for a quick break and another drink at the Camper before heading to the store where the owner got some breakfast cookies and some delicious dog food! After breakfast we were restless so after a few barks we walked along Epe beach with a little picnic and a day of swimming and swimming in the rocks below Thorncombe Beacon. It took me a while to get up the courage to start swimming, but Daisy jumped off the rocks. It was so nice to cool off and swim chasing a beach ball that we had it to ourselves!
After the picnic we headed up the hill to the park and took a quick dog shower to wash off the sand and salt water. After a long nap in the sun, it’s time to head to Martin’s Bar & Restaurant. It’s great that most places are dog friendly, so Daisy and I were able to warm up to our owners and meet other dogs. We made a quick stop at one of the water bowls before enjoying some bar food and a little dog treat, including some delicious dog ice cream! Although our food was good, the owner’s burger and steak looked the best! We went back to the firehouse for a while and it was time for bed before Jack and Matthew, the park rangers, said hello! Everyone was friendly and welcoming and we met lots of dogs. Tomorrow we will go to the same place! Our owners have used the app to find dog friendly places, beaches and restaurants and we can’t wait to explore more and discover Dorset!
