We had a very pleasant stay at Convent Cottage. It is centrally located, a good walk up the hill to the main beach, very close to great restaurants and cafes. Yamba and the people we met were lovely! One of the best options for pets in Australia is pet parks, with most pet parks allowing pets. The car parks have many facilities such as swimming pools and playgrounds which are great if you are holidaying with children.

Just a two-hour drive south of Sydney is Gerringong, south of Kiama. Werri Beach Holiday Park is a dog friendly holiday park. In addition to being pet-friendly on site, the parking lot also has three two-bedroom apartments.
Proper documentation is required when booking a home with a dog. Dogs are allowed in the park outside NSW High School and on public holidays.

If you want to head north of Sydney, Blacksmiths Beachside Holiday Park is a dog-friendly holiday park between the Central Coast and Newcastle. I’ve camped in the park before in an RV, but there are two dog kennels.
Both pet-friendly cabins have a doggie door to the covered porch, along with a bed and water bowl. It is best to call and check the rules before booking as some types are prohibited. However, the peak period is not limited.
The park is just a short drive from Blacksmiths Beach and a short drive (or long walk) from the dog beach on the north side of town. There is a dog wash on site.
