TRAVEL TIP: April-October is transition season. To get to any trailhead at the top of Zion Canyon, you must purchase a $1 shuttle ticket and ride to the top.

In addition to being one of the most beautiful states in the United States, Kentucky is home to an incredible number of waterfalls! (Over 700 to be exact!)
The most prominent of these is Cumberland Falls near Somerset, Kentucky. In fact, it’s just one of a handful of amazing hikes in the area, dubbed the “Niagara of the South.” The equally stunning Eagle Falls is on one of the trails from the same parking lot. Although it is difficult, but at the same time incredibly beautiful!
