Jasper Pet Friendly Vacation Rentals
Bear Hill Lodge We are the only lodge in town located in a quiet corner of town! Tekarra Lodge is the best choice if you are looking for a pet friendly lodge in Jasper National Park. Our cabins are located on a ridge overlooking the Athabasca and Miette Rivers, with trails and areas right outside your door to exercise, stretch your legs, or spin. Because Tekarra Lodge is located in a national park, you may see wildlife on the property, especially during the moth mating season. It is important that dogs are properly managed (ie on a leash) to ensure that wildlife get the space they need. After all, we are all guests in their home.
We want all guests who stay with us to enjoy the peaceful oasis that Tekarra Lodge is known for. We ask our guests traveling with their furry family members to sign a pet registration agreement upon check-in and allow no more than two pets per cabin. Unfortunately we do not allow pets in our lodge above the Tekarra restaurant.
The pet fee is $35 per pet per day, but we will not charge more than $70 per pet during your stay. All dogs of all sizes are welcome, including large breeds. All registered pets (mainly dogs) receive a special amenity package upon registration. If needed, we also supply sheets for the sofa and food bowls. Sometimes we have even seen cats accompanying their owners on holiday – Tekarra Lodge is open to all animals.
To make your pet’s stay even more meaningful, a portion of the pet fee will be used to support the Hinton and Area SPCA and SCARS.
Kitchenette And Dog Friendly
We are very pleased to welcome you and your pets as our guests. We want their stay to be as pleasant and relaxing as that of their owners. At Tekarra Lodge, the safety of all our guests and their pets is important to us. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse pets for any reason.
All registered pets (mainly dogs) will receive a welcome gift to prepare you and your pet for your Jasper National Park adventure.
Lake Annette is a popular swimming destination with many trails surrounding the blue-green lake. If you have a dog that likes to play in the water, you also have a small dog-friendly area where you can cool off.
Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies and is absolutely packed with natural wonders. Please note that most of the park’s hiking trails are dog-friendly, as long as they are kept on a leash at all times.

Bear Hill Lodge is the only lodge in Jasper that’s actually in town, and it’s within walking distance of all of Jasper’s best restaurants and attractions (which is important because parking on Jasper Street isn’t free). They have a variety of cabin types available to suit any type of guest. Some are designed for smaller groups and some for large groups.

Easily one of the best winter and summer cabin rentals in Jasper! Miette Mountain Cabins (formerly known as Pocahontas Cabins) is located at the intersection of Miette Road and Highway 16. Miette Hot Springs is only a 25 minute drive and the town of Jasper is only a 30 minute drive away, which is perfect. for exploring the area. more in nature. Miette Mountain Cabins offers free WiFi, satellite TV and a kitchen. Therefore, it is the perfect place for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy the comforts of home.
Each unit in these unique Alberta cabins also has a cozy couch and gas fireplace to enjoy in the evenings – even in the summer! When you come back from exploring Jasper, you can always relax in the heated outdoor pool! If you forget something in town, don’t worry, as Miette Mountain Cabins also has a small grocery store on site with pre-packaged snacks. It’s great because it has BBQ facilities in the summer. Please note that Miette Mountain Cabins is pet friendly and charges $25 per night per dog.
Patricia Lake is one of my favorite places in all of Jasper and staying on the lake is a dream come true. It’s a beautiful place to go in both summer and winter, but an even better place to stay. Located under Pyramid Mountain, you can stay at Patricia Lake Bungalows and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and sip coffee just steps away from the lake.
They have been in business since 1966 and have a great reputation in the park. Patricia Lake is close enough to the town of Jasper that you can get everything you need, but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the mountains (you will need a car if you stay here).
