Justin Trails Resort, Sparta, VI – This dog-friendly area has over 200 acres of open space and woods full of adventure opportunities. You and your pup can enjoy camping on site, or opt for a more comfortable cabin stay, which can accommodate up to 3 pets (for a small nightly fee). This is a great place to enjoy skiing or snowshoeing with your pet to have fun in the snow together! There are also plenty of opportunities for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, and for children (and children at heart!) there is a sledding and tubing track.

Indian Lake County Park, Cross Plains, VI – This park has a beautiful 442 acre lake surrounded by a winding trail that leads to a wonderful historic chapel from 1857. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to snap photos of your dog enjoying the snowy conditions at any of the scenic overlooks along the way. In addition to the small boathouse on the west side of the lake, there is also a pet-friendly exercise area on site.
Interstate State Park St. Croix Falls, VI – While the area does not boast official ski slopes, there are several multi-use trails in the area to choose from. Keep in mind that certain areas are off-limits to your pet, so always check tags and keep them on a leash in accordance with Wisconsin State Park regulations. Winter recreation trails are open for snowshoeing, winter hiking, cross-country skiing, and animal-friendly activities such as walking, cross-country skiing, and cross-country skiing; Please note that Skyline Trail does not allow pets after grooming. The area is open for tent, trailer and RV camping if you want to go on an extended vacation with your pets.
